So much has happened since my last post.
Kaden had his takedown. We Admitted him on june 2nd for his Bowel prep. They had to pump him full of "Golightly" (Reminds me of Breakfast at Tiffanys) which is a uber medicated Laxitive to TOTALLY clean everything out of his bowels. He was partial NPO, meaning he could only have Pedialyte till Midnight that night. He did pretty well with that. He was NOT too happy the morning of the surgery, he was so hungry and Total NPO. meaning he could not have ANYTHING orally. The only vice we had was putting sugar water on his Binky. At about 11:30AM surgery came up to get Kaden for the surgery. Kevin and I were able to walk down to the OR area with Kaden before he went in. The anesthesiologist came and spoke with us, we signed all the papers, talked to his AMAZING surgeon, Dr.Matlack, and just as I kissed him and told him to stay strong and I love him before he went into surgery, he started crying, almost like he knew what was going on, and I lost it. I started sobbing. I just wanted to run and get Kaden and hold him. But I knew that was not an option. Kevin and I walk out of the OR and he grabs me and I just cry, He kept telling me it would be okay (as he was fighting back the tears, so he could be strong for me), and all I could say was "QUIT SAYING THAT, IT DOESNT MAKE IT ANY EASIER". We went and checked in with the Surgery waiting room, and let them know we were going out to smoke and eat since they just went in. We walk out to go smoke so I could calm my nerves a little, and all I could think about was my little boy, crying, wondering if he was scared, wondering if he was okay, if he felt any pain. We finally make it back up to the waiting room, and all we did was wait. An hour went by, and the OR calls to give us an update. Kaden was doing great! He was stable, it took them more anesthesia to get him sedated, but they got him to sleep, no blood loss, and The surgeon was suturing his colon back together. **PHEW** so than we wait another hour, and we didnt hear anything, another 45 minutes go by and the surgeon walks into the waiting room. (which they don't normally do, they have you go to the PICU or IMSU which is Infant Medical Surgical Unit) so my heart stops. What the hell is he doing in here? Did something happen to Kaden? My heart starts racing as he asks us to follow him into a "conference room". We sit down and look at him, waiting for what we thought was bad news. "Well guys, the surgery went great" **double sigh**, he went on to tell us there was no other damage with the colon, no other perforations, everything looked great. I should add, a couple weeks Before his surgery, his ostomy started to close, so once a day, i had to stick this metal instrument which was 5mm wide, into his ostomy about a half an inch to dialate his ostomy, in lamans terms, reopening the skin and muscle, OMG it was horrible. It was either that or ANOTHER surgery on the side to redo the ostomy. So back to where I was, The surgeon also mentioned that we did a great job keeping his ostomy open, and it was almost to the point where the dialating would not have worked to it was a good thing his surgery happened when it did. So after the talking, we were able to go see Kaden in the PICU. (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit). We get down there, he still had the vent in, so his arms were strapped down, and he was starting to wake up. His eyes were open, and he starts to cry. He couldnt make any noise, but you could see it on his face. At that point We knew he was okay. As soon as I get home, I call to check on him, see if he is breathing on his own over the vent, and they said he was initiating all the breaths, which is good. And they would call me if anything changed. About a half hour later his nurse calls me and said they extubated him, meaning they took the ventilator out. WOOHOO! So they were going to watch him for the night, and if he did okay with out the vent, they would transfer him back up to IMSU. Of course he kicked butt, and really the rest of the story is the same as the first, he was weaned off the morphine pretty quick, they just kept a little tylenol in him until he could eat, to keep him comfy. He started eating, they didn't put any restrictions on how much he could eat. He had a little trouble at first being able to stomach all the food, he was used to eating so much, so he threw it up a couple times, (well one of the times I think it was cause I changed his butt right after he ate, so it squished up his belly). He started pooping! I never ever thought I would be so happy to see a poopy diaper. The first thing I thought when I first held Kaden Postop, is "wow, so this is what it feels like to hold a baby without a colostomy bag" Day 8 post op we were able to bring him home! There were no restrictions on activity, they pretty much said, "Here ya go, you have a normal baby now!" He has done great at home! Everyday I thank who ever was watching out for my baby, thank them for saving him, thank them for helping him during his surgery. Shortly before his surgery my Bestamor (my moms mom) Passed due to heart failure and bone cancer, and part of me just knew, she was watching over our Kaden during his surgery, and I knew he would be okay.
Thank you to everyone for all your prayers and warm thoughts and warm wishes. I really do appreciate all of you!

Kaden's Story

KADENS FIRST SMILE!
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 326px; height: 326px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_4YPYMc3IwcA/Sh7lklAGsBI/AAAAAAAAATU/rwSCQ2l9Bec/s400/2.2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5340958624678588434" />
Hello All!!
It's been QUITE some time since I have last blogged. Kaden is doing great! He goes in for his final surgery June 3rd! We are nervous but Very Optimistic. He is such a strong cute little boy!
I wrote up "his story" for his scrap book, and I thought I would post it up here, so all can see the story of Kaden. Here it goes.....

.....LABOR AND DELIVERY
“Aunty Emily” and “Aunty Amy” came over to help mom clean all the carpets in the house, so the house was clean for your arrival. Emily brought over the ingredients for a “Castor Oil Cocktail” which claims to put pregnant women into Labor, so I thought I would give it a shot. I take the drink, nothing happens, I go for a walk, nothing happens, I go and swing on the swings at the park, still nothing. I just figured you were stubborn like mommy and would come out when you were good and ready. I send Emily and Amy home for the night, and I crawl into bed, well on the couch with Erica, (she was having a rough night). I wake up at about 3:00AM on April 19th with really sharp pains in my belly. I first thought it could be gas pains, or maybe just sleeping on the couch strained a muscle in my belly. 5 minutes pass of me trying to figure out why I am in so much pain till it clicks, “WAIT! THESE ARE CONTRACTIONS!” I get off the couch to go get my phone to call my doc, and my water breaks. My heart is racing, I am crying from the excitement and the pain, mainly the pain. I call the doctor and she says “Congrats Morgan, you are about to have a baby!” I call Emily and have her come out and sit with your sisters while Daddy and I went to the hospital. As soon as she got to the house, Dad and I sped off into the night, to the Hospital. En-Route I call Poppa and Poppa Dave and tell them you are about to be born and to meet us at St.Marks. Daddy and I get to the hospital, we got me all checked in, and into my delivery room, and daddy and I are waiting for the nurse to check me and see how Dilated I was, Dad and my jaw dropped when she said “Oh, you are a good 6 centimeters” when just a few days before I was barely ONE centimeter. This was at about 4:00AM. With about one minute of pushing, you came into this world at 7:08AM April 19th, 2009. You were born with the umbilical cord wrapped around your neck, which was really scary, but Dr.Taylor was QUICK to get you untangled, they gave you oxygen to get you breathing a little better on your own, and then they gave you to me. I couldn’t help but cry when I saw you. All I could think was, “I finally have a son!” I held you for a few minutes until I realized that something was wrong with me. I wouldn’t stop bleeding. So I gave you to daddy and I tried to calm myself down. In the end everything was Okay, I didn’t lose too much blood, I was just VERY woozy for the rest of the day. The night of April 19th, I decided to take you to the nursery so mom could have some down time, when I went back to get you, the Nurse told me that your blood sugar dropped dangerously low, which caused your heart rate to drop which also caused your body temp to drop. I cried, when I saw you, you had an IV in your Arm, hooked up to monitors and were just crying. I felt so helpless. They wouldn’t let me leave the nursery with you, so I came out and spent some time with Daddy and your sisters in the room. The next morning you were doing great! I was able to keep you in my room with me ALL DAY! We had lots of visitors, and we had plans to take you home the next morning. All that changed pretty quickly.
WHEN WE REALIZED YOU WERE SICK
The morning of the 21st, I took you to the nursery so I could shower and pack everything up before we went home, as I walked into the nursery, your nurse looked at you and said “Oh my god he’s purple” she took you into the other room and gave you oxygen to pink you back up. I left the nursery to call daddy to let him know what happened, while I was outside talking to dad, apparently you had another “episode”. They told us you were going to be admitted to the NICU at St.Marks, and that I would have to go home without you. Buddy, that was the HARDEST thing I think I have ever had to do, was drive away from that hospital, knowing you were still in there, and you were so sick. For the next few days, you kept having these “episodes” where you would turn purple and quit breathing. You had SO SO many tests done on you. A few that I can remember was the CT Scan to check your brain, the Lumbar Puncture to see if you had Meningitis, X-Rays galore, and all came back normal, which we were grateful, but still left us wondering why we couldn’t bring you home. We felt so helpless, until the morning of the 24th, when Dr.Leu called me, told me to sit down, she had some news. My heart dropped, I thought I might have lost you, or something happened. She told me that when she came in to examine you, your belly looked very bloated, so she touched your belly, and you just CRIED! She knew something was wrong, she ordered an X-ray of your belly, and found a very large air bubble in your belly, which is caused by an Intestinal Perforation. We realized the reason you were so sick is due to the fact you were septic, caused from all the waste floating through your body. We could have lost you if that amazing doctor Dr.Leu, at St.Marks didn’t find the problem. She informed me that you were going to be transferred to Primary Children’s Medical Center, and you would need surgery. I was sad, scared, but at the same time grateful that you were going to a hospital that was going to fix you. I called daddy and told him, we met up at St.Marks, I went in to see you and sign Papers, and when I saw you, you looked so sad, so sick and in so much pain. They gave you a good amount of Morphine to take the pain away, oxygen tubes up your nose, and inserted an Anderson Tube down your throat to get all the waste, and stomach acid/bile out of your belly.

YOUR SURGERY AT PRIMARY CHILDRENS MEDICAL CENTER
The transport team strapped you into the incubator and took you to the ambulance that was going to take you to Primary’s. Daddy and I followed you up to Primary’s; they took you right up to the NICU and asked that we give the staff about 20 minutes to get you situated before we came into see you. Dad and I hadn’t eaten all morning so we went to go get some food, and got a call that the surgery team needed to speak with us, When we got back up to the NICU the team informed us of the risks of the surgery, what could happen, and to let us know you would be going in for and exploratory surgery to find where the perforation was. We signed the consent form, and waited. We finally got the call that they were ready to take you into surgery. I walked with your nurse and the nurse that was going to be taking care of you during surgery, down to the surgery wing. When we walked through the doors, we were met with about 5 people, all who were going to help you. Your surgeon, Dr.Matlack, explained to me again what was going to take place during surgery, the risks, etc. Also the anesthesiologist who was going to make sure you were completely asleep and didn’t feel a thing. The only thing I remember saying to Dr.Matlack was PLEASE TAKE CARE OF MY BABY!

About 2 ½ hours later, we got the call that you were out of surgery, and to come up to the NICU to speak to the surgeon. Our hearts were racing, we were hoping for the best but bracing for the worst. He said there was a 3.4mm hole in the lower part of your colon, not sure what caused it, but they had to take out 10% of your colon, because it was so beat up from the hole. What kept you from getting sick a lot sooner was your small intestine attached itself to the hole, which helped keep A LOT more waste from coming out. Dr.Matlack told us that you had an ostomy, which is where part of your bowel is surgically put outside your belly, and you would produce waste out of that, and you would have colostomy bags until your Next surgery. The next surgery would be where they would put your belly back together, and close up the ostomy. He said you did great through the surgery, you were stable, but did great! We were FINALLY able to go see you. When we saw you, you had 2 IV’s in your head, one in your hand, you were on the Ventilator and you had the Anderson tube still, AND you had a incision on your belly. Despite all that, you were still my perfect, handsome, baby boy! As Dad and I were talking to your nurse, I looked down at you, kissed your cheek, and for one brief second, you opened your eyes as to tell me that you were finally okay. The only movement we could get from you, since you were HEAVILY sedated was by tickling your foot. When we did that, you would spread your little toes. It was nice to see you moving, I then knew you were okay.
YOUR RECOVERY AND COMING HOME
2 days later, they took you off the Ventilator, 1 day after that, you got the Anderson tube out, and they started you on eating. You got SO mad at times, because your food would be gone, and you would want more, they had to give you some medicine to help you relax, in between your feedings. All you wanted to do was eat. They put you up to full feeds (48ml) within a few days. You were doing great! I called the morning of May 4th to check on you, and I got the best news from your nurse, WE WERE GOING TO BRING YOU HOME! I hung up the phone with your nurse, Daddy and I HURRIED and cleaned up the house, made up your bed in our room, picked you out an outfit to come home in, Dropped Samie off at school, and Dad, Erica and I hauled booty up to the hospital to pick you up! We were finally able to have you home. We are so proud at how strong you were through your surgeries! You amaze me everyday! I am so proud to be your mommy! I love you little man! The next part of this story will be about your “takedown” and your recovery. We are really excited to have it all over with, but anxious about the surgery at the same time. You are not sick this time around; you are much bigger and stronger than you were during your first surgery. We are confident you will pull through and we will have you back home with us in no time.....

....The next blog I post will be an update on his next surgery, which will hopefully be the last.

I should Prob add Kadens stats from birth

Hahahah!

He was born at 7:08AM on April 19th, 2009 weighing in at 6lbs 3 oz and 19in long. THey rushed him over to oxygen was able to get him breathing again, but because he also did it another time after that, they sent him to NICU. NOTHING EVER prepares you to see your newborn with an IV in his head, and monitors on him. SOOO the doc there ran test after test after test on the poor boy and everything came back normal, WHICH is good, but still no answers, at this point we were trying to figure out why he was having his episodes of turning purple. At this point I am cursing god, asking why my child, why make an innocent baby ill. While I was up there last night feeding him, he seemed a little more agitated than normal, but I chalked it up to the infection he had or the fact that he has had TONS of tests run on him. At this point last night he had gone 24 hours without an episode, so I was starting to get hopeful.. I get a call this morning from the new NICU doc on shift, and said when she came to check on him today she noticed his belly was rather large so as she was touching it, he got VERY agitated and starting crying. So they did an xray on his belly and saw that there was a large air bubble in his belly which is caused by a hole in his intestine somewhere. She than stated we were going to transport him to Primary Childrens. I was scared at this point, but grateful he was going to a hospital that specialized in sick kids. When kevin and I got there, the Life Flight team was there getting him ready for transport, I thought seeing my son with ONE IV in his head was hard, my 5 day old baby was being strapped down in an Incubator, a tube in his mouth that ran into his belly to help decompress his belly, and monitors GALORE. So after that kevin and I followed the Ambulance from St.Marks to Primarys, when we got there and finally met with the surgery team, we were told the risks etc. with the surgery. At this point poor kevin had to leave the hospital to go deal with work shit, and I just waited around for the team to come get Kaden for surgery. He went in at ABOUT 3:30pm and got out at about 5:30pm. We were expecting them to say they had to remove a HUGE portion of the intestine or colon and I would have a sick child my whole life, AFTER surgery The AMAZING surgeon told us they found a 3x4mm hole in his colon that was leaking waste in his body and forcing air into his belly. His small intestine had managed to attach its self to the hole in the colon to help block some of the waste from entering his body. There was some in his belly which we are thinking why he had the infection and the Apnea. They had to remove about 10% (which is good) of his colon. One end they sutured up because with how bad that 10% was, they didnt dare reattach it yet, and the other side was folded over and brought to the surface, so he will have a Colostomy Bag till about 3 mths old when he will have to go back into surgery and have the 2 ends of the colon reattached, given they regenerated enough to stay healthy. My son is such a fighter, his vitals were stable all throughout surgery, and he did so well. When kevin and I went into see Kaden, he looked sick, but a lot better than I thought a 5 day old baby would look just getting out of a massive surgery, he opened his eyes long enough for us to tell him we love him and are proud of him. All the warm thoughts and prayers you have all been sending to him, i truly believe are working. Keep praying for the little guy, he still has some hurdles to jump but we are headed in the right direction. We love you all! My doctor checked me and I am 1+ dilated and 30% effaced. Which is hopeful yet I am not getting my hopes up too high seeing with Erica, I was 3 centimeters dilated and 75% effaced. But who knows. Kaden is doing good. THe doc estimates that he will be about 6.5-7lbs when born. Small baby is fine by me:) When I am pregnant, and I nest, I am not like most women who are Nazi cleaners or like to organize, me....I redecorate. Haha. When I was about 8 mths pregnant with Erica, we repainted the walls in our house white and re carpeted. With Kaden, we, well I (minus the help I got from Emmy and Kevin doing the ladder) repainted the house a REALLY pretty light shade of yellow. It totally changed the feeling of my house from Blah to really cozy. I am very happy with it. Now that thats done, I was told by my husband to take it easy and not do anything else until I pop. lol

Other than that, things are the same, girls are good, we are all anxious for the arrival of Kaden Dee Bronson.

Next major update will be after he is born. I will also be posting a new belly pic :)

36 weeks down...4 to go

We are SOOO ready for little man to be born! She is reading books with small words, "and, the, an, be" etc. She is finding words and sounding them out, Example, she looked at my car and sounded out the word Caliber. We still have a little problem with the different sounds one letter makes, but over all, she surprises me everyday with all her new things she has learned at school.. She can identify all her numbers without having to count up to a certain #, she is so friendly, has so many little friends. We went on Wednesday to her SEP Conference (Parent Teacher Conference) and she has PERFECT grades. Kevin and I are so proud of her. She is also helping Erica learn how to sound out words, showing erica what certain words are and also helping erica with her speech. Erica is sooo much fun!!! She is a 30 yr old trapped in a 4 yr olds body. She is VERY smart, and has a very wide vocabulary. She does have a studder. We are trying to figure out if it's her coming into this whole new world of words or if it is indeed a "issue". It is adorable though. Instead of saying "Where are we going" she says "Wha wha wha wha wha where are we going". Before she used to studder when asking the 'W' questions, Who, what, where, when, why. Now I am noticing it more with other words. The speech therapist at samanthas school says as of now it's not too big of deal, it's just something that we will have to take day by day. She is also really into the baby thing. She will take her baby, wrap "cinderella" up in a blanket and go lay her in Baby Kaden's crib to take a nap, 5 seconds later, Cinderella wakes up and she has to feed her and change her "stinky butt" as she calls it. She is so nurturing with young kids as well. She is going to make an amazing big sister, my little helper. She is also quite the little boss at times. Kevin and I will be up laying in bed watching a movie or what not, goofing off, teasing each other, and Erica will come up stairs, put her hands on her hips, give us the look and say, " What is going on in here" End result being Kevin and I are usually grounded for about 30 seconds. She's very protective over what is hers, the dogs, family, cats, friends, and toys. Which is a good thing, but there are times we have to remind her that we share, and the toys are for everyone to play with. She doesn't like to see people hurting. I have had little bouts of Braxton Hicks contractions which one night, got so bad I thought I was in labor, called the doc, and of course I wasn't, but Tiny Feet (her nickname) the whole time would bring me water, pat my back, kiss my forehead, kept asking if I was okay, and would scold baby kaden for hurting mommy. ;) So cute!

Kevin and I are still running the company, it has been pretty stressful these past few months, employees quitting, hiring employees, trucks breaking down, the MASSIVE amounts of back paperwork we need to get done, but in the end, him and I are loving every minute of it.. I love that he asked me to help with the HR aspect of the comp. I feel that I am more of a important part of the company than just the person that would send faxes. It feels that it is more of a team effort, I really enjoy what I do.
Kevin is still with the band, they have had a few shows lately, now they are trying to get into the studio to record their new CD so they can get a tour started. Which would be good to get their name out there, I don't like when he is gone that much, but I know it's what he loves to do, so I support him 100%. Figured I should seeing he supports my hobby, Therapy Shopping. lol.

Well all, my hands are starting to cramp up. More updates will come! 40 more days till due date! Hope for an april baby!

XOXOXO to you all!

ULTRASOUND PICS 32 WEEKS PREGNANT

HE HAS GOT THE CUTEST LITTLE NOSE....HE IS MY 3RD CHILD TO SLEEP WITH THEIR HAND UP ON HIS FACE. It is hard to believe that 4 years ago, I had a itty bitty baby girl in my arms. WOW! Even weirder to think, that 4 years later, I am still pregnant ;)
The pregnancy is still going good. I took the EVIL EVIL EVIL glucose test, with that oh so delicious drink. Mine just so happened to be flavored Fruit Punch, a flavor I truly despise, so it was Not to my suprise I had the HARDEST time keeping it down. My 5 yr old Samie was holding my hand telling me it was ok if I "Frew up", she wouldn't be mad at me. Wow, she sounds like a little momma. Anyway, for those who don't know what the glucose test is, It's where they test pregnant women for Gestational Diabetes. It's not necessarily a good thing to have, but also not too severe. I passed with flying colors. I don't have G.D. nor am I anemic, and my thyroid levels are normal. One complication I am having is I have Placenta Previa. Pretty much in Lamens Terms, My Placenta is not where it should be, and is covering up my cervix. I am going in for an Ultrasound within the next few weeks to see if by chance my Placenta is back where it should be. I had this same problem with Samantha, but it was SO minor, we didn't even worry about it. We are hoping it's back where it should be so I do not have to have a C-Section. The only con I see to getting the C is my doc told me that she would tie my tubes while she was in there. IF my placenta is back where it should be, but Kaden is still breach, I am going in at 36 weeks to have my doc try and flip him, which could than break my water from all the pressure. If he flips and stays head down, we are in business, and I will be happy as Pie, if he doesn't flip and stays breach, we will have to resort to option one, the big C. I look at it as long as My little man is healthy and strong, i really don't care if they have to pull him out of my nose, although I must say, that wouldn't be or feel too pleasant.. Everything else is going as normal, I feel SO busy yet I look at it, and I really seem to be slacking on housework and such. Which brings me to my next point... With this pregnancy, I have had the urge to cook, not Mac and Cheese cook, but I mean make stuff from scratch. So Yesterday for Erica's bday, we made Sugar cookies, it was so much fun, and I must say for my first time making them, they turned out GREAT! I was So proud of myself, so was my husband, well he seemed more shocked that I didn't burn them, or the house down. lol.
So the girls decorate the cookies with their friend, and my niece by proxy Kelsey, and go to dinner and start winding things down. I finally crawl in bed after cleaning up pink and purple frosting off my table, and playing Rockband with my friends, and I eventually fall asleep. I wake up at 2:00AM to make one of my many runs to the potty in the middle of the night, and I hear a crunching noise, I look down stairs and our year old dog Bella, had put her front paws up on the counter, and knocked a dozen and a half unfrosted cookies off the counter, and also managed to eat EVERY SINGLE ONE! Oh my I was FURIOUS. I spanked her butt, called her a few naughty names (look in my defense it was 2 am when i found this, and I am NOT a happy camper when i wake up) and put her out back. I watched her for a couple hours to see if she would infact turn into a sugar cookie, but no, she was fine, she was running around playing in the yard. I think we will change her name to goat, for all the crap that dog manages to find, or dig up and EAT, and NOT get sick, she must have a gut like a goat. She is lucky she is so cute with those big brown eyes and the crooked floppy ears... **sigh**
Well all, I am off to bed, waking up early to do Valentines Cards for Samie's school party. Until we meet again,
CIAO!

I would like to introduce the newest member of the family...

My 08' Dodge Caliber. Where do I start.....
Well first, the family and I were out running errands, and were headed to the gas station to get drinks. The street we take for those that do not know, has many dips (storm drain run off things) so You have to take the dips slow, I was a little distracted when I was driving and hit one of the dips too fast, and we heard that LOVELY scratching sound, when you hit the bottom of the car, so hubby scolds me (not really) just reminds me to slow down, i say I know I know. Ok well I didnt know, When we were leaving the gas station i noticed MASSIVE amounts of oil under where my car was parked, I didnt know if it was from me or another car, so I start panicking and my awesome hubby lays down on the ground, in the snowy mush to check if I was leaking oil, sure as shitake was........So he said get home now! So as we are driving, an indicator light comes on, "OIL PRESSURE LOW, SHUT OFF ENGINE" So Hubs starts getting a little heated at me, I start BAULING, OH MY GOD I BROKE MY CAR, I love my soccer mom car, I felt like such an idiot. So we BARELY make it home, hubby gets his shop light out and climbs under the car to better assess the damage, I punctured a hole in my oil pan. Here is a pic of the piece of my oil pan that was broken out.......ok scr5atch that I went to find the pic, and i must have deleted it...It was the size of a Ritz cracker. Not too good. Soooooooo I call Dave Strong VW dealership to find out how much a new oil pan would be.....$250.00 and ANOTHER $215.00 just to put the stupid thing on. Lucky for me, my husband is VERY mechanically inclined and was able to get my oil pan mended and put back on, good as new. OY!
After that we thought the bad luck was over....NOPE! MY washer and Dryer took a big huge poop, it just so happened when my neighbor was using my washer since HERS went out as well...she didn't break it though, so OK those that have seen my laundry room KNOW what a massive amount of laundry I always seem to have. I needed a freaking washer and dryer. So we go to a rent-a-center (our credit wasn't good enough to get financed anywhere else) since they are not credit based. WE ended up buying a BRAND NEW Whirlpool washer and dryer, I mean BrandNew, Whirlpool just came out with them.

than the other morning when hubby was shutting the garage after leaving for work, I hear a HUGE crash! I was like WTF times 100. I open the door, the freaking bolt that holds the door on the track came off....so our garage pulled a jack and jill and came tumbling down. The next morning hubbys car wouldnt start, that was fun, so I was his taxi cab for the first part of the day, until we figured out it was the starter cillanoid SP* so he got a hammer and tapped it like a keg, and the car started right up, so lets just talk about mcguivering stuff....SO needless to say, this is why i have not blogged lately....
The pregnancy is going well, Kaden is growing right on target, he is breech as of now, and my uterus is tipped, so needless to say, I am VERY uncomfortable 98% of the time. Everything is going great though, I have another Ultrasound at about 30 weeks to see if little dude has flipped yet or not. If he hasn't by about 35 weeks, we will schedule a C-Section...
The girls are doing great! Samantha is doing SO good in school, with her reading, her sight words, and saying the sounds of the word....sounding words out....Erica is just as cute as ever, I realized the other day, this is my last full year with her before she starts Kindergarten...AHHHH! Ok i'm 24 and this stuff makes me feel SO old. She will start the big K fall of 2010. I have been helping out at TVille Elementary lately, between lice checks (eww) and setting up the Maturation program, and just assisting in samanthas K class, im at the school quite a bit, when I am feeling well enough, and erica LOVES going to help in her class, she gets to hang with her big sissy and she feels like such a big girl!
WEll wow! this was a VERY long blog....XOXO to everyone, I love you all! Keep posted, I will start blogging again regularly, oh and a new belly pic soon to come!

Christmas Time

<img style="float:left; I was helping Samantha with her homework this morning, and she blew me away. Right now in class they are working on the letter 'k'. Samie wrote them all out no problem, they also had a page of pictures that had the short 'A' sound. Ok it's been years since I did that stuff, so I had to ponder it for a moment, remembering which sound was Long A and short A. Oh no, samie was one step in front of me, and taught me which was which. I asked her "Ok baby, aren't I supposed to be the one helping you?" She giggled.

and miss Erica, she is so stinking cute, she is definitely our Mischievous one, but oh so smart! The things she says blows me away sometimes, I believe she is a 30 yr old trapped in a 3 year old body! I love being a mother, I love being able to watch them grow, and learn, and be little stinkers!

On the subject of cuteness, when we found out we were having a boy at the ultrasound, I asked both the girls if they were excited, these were their responses.

ME: Samie! Are you excited you are getting a little brother?
Sam: **in a very blah answer** Yeah
ME: Erica? Are you excited to have a little brother?
Erica: NO! I TOLD YOU I WANTED A LITTLE SISTER, NOT A LITTLE BROTHER!!! **folds her arms, and does her look**

and of you that know Erica or seen her when she is VERY into what she is saying, knows she has this CUTE serious look on her face with these pouty lips.

Blessings

I had to just blog a moment about how blessed I feel.
I have a WONDERFUL husband, 2 BEAUTIFUL amazing daughters, and my son, (who we also call the turkey cooking in the oven)
I have always wanted a little boy, to do the macho, boy things with. I finally got my wish.
As I was laying on the Ultrasound table today, as the Tech was doing the measurements of turkey, I thought I saw a little blip on the screen by the legs..
ME: Wait, what was that little thing by the legs
Tech: Let me finish these measurements up, and we will see.
**wiggles the baby finder wand on my belly**
Tech: That is most definitely a boy!
ME: What?! But that little thing right there (points to turkeys blip) that is the Penis! Congratulations, you are having a boy!
ME: Oh my god, Kevin, we finally get our little boy **kevin just smiles, so happy and proud**

Now that the waiting and waiting to find out the sex has come and gone, now comes the waiting and waiting for the baby to get here. In their adventure, my mom took the girls to Ikea's Kid land (my mom works at Ikea). My mom went off and was talking to people, and came back to get the girls to leave, and one of the ladies that works at the Kid land told my mother, You are not going to believe what happened!! At that point my mom wasn't sure if it was bad or good. So she asked what? This is what she heard.
"Samantha said she had to go potty, but needed a cup. Not knowing why we gave her one anyway, So a few minutes pass, and She comes back and hands us the cup. We weren't sure if what was in the cup, is what we thought, so we asked her, What is this? Samantha Replied, I peed in a cup for you!" **insert laugh here**
So they tried to hold back their giggles not to embarass her, (anyone that knows miss samie, knows she is very sensitive) and took her back to the bathroom to put her pee where it goes.
What some of you might be wondering is Where in the hell did she get an idea to do that?
Well they watch mom VERY closly at the Ob's. And what do you need to do when Pregnant at the doctors? I went to the midnight showing with my friend Holly, (her sister/the idea maker Lindz was sick and couldn't go, so we are doing a rerun when she feels better).
I really REALLY enjoyed the movie, but I liked the books more. The books of course went into the smaller details of Bella and her immortal lover Edward, but the movie did do a good job "hollywoodising" the story. The movie had a great Cast, the actors fit into their character VERY well.
It was not what I had expected, hoped for, but I am definitely NOT disappointed with it. The writer of the books Stephanie Meyer is a genius. For you that have NOT read the Twilight series, I suggest you read them before seeing the movie.
I am totally and completely hooked on Twilight, and might I add I am totally and completely in love with Edward Cullen, oh and his "dad" Carlisle Isn't too shabby (in the movie) either.
I am on only a few hours of sleep due to me getting home from the movie at 2:45AM, so I will blog more and post pics later...

Let's get something straight...Or gay, its all Ok with me

Apparently anyone who attended or supported the Rally last night were dubbed "Spoiled Brats" by some talk radio host. Let me mention again, the protest WAS NOT to say, HEY THE GAYS DIDNT GET THEIR WAY WITH PROP 8(as people seem to think), No WE went down to protest the millions of dollars the church..LDS CHURCH sent over to CA to SUPPORT the Decision. Granted, they have the "right" to donate to the cause, as we the supporters of GLBT community, have a right to Protest against it. What we did WAS NOT against the law, as what the church did, was not against the law. We stood United for what we believe in, as the Oh Holy Church did as well...So WHAT IS SO FUCKING WRONG??? I MEAN COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get your facts straight people. So listen to this idiots (matter of opinion, opinions are not illegal) Take on the rally... As some of you may have been supporters of Prop 8 (aka Prop H8) more power to you....I still love you all the same, Im not judging your decision as I ask you don't Judge mine....

http://www. myfoxutah. com/myfox/MyFox/pages/sidebar_video. jsp?contentId=7822333&version=1&locale=EN-US

ABC's of Life

A- Attached or Single? I'm so glad we can keep the dentists in business. Haha. On a serious note, I did enjoy this year a lot. I was in charge of setting up Samantha's Halloween party for her Kindergarten class today, It was a blast!
We had "Bobbing for apples" which consisted kids being blindfolded and sticking their hands in the water and get an apple..Face painting, which was done by our Friend Lindsey, Goodie bags, Gross things, and a pumpkin toss. It really was a blast although it wore me out quite a bit. Came home, took a nap with the girls, woke up around 5, put costumes back on, touched up hair and makeup, and went up to Poppa and Poppa Dave's to get their "special halloween treat".
Got back home around 7 and went trick or treating with the neighbor kids. Poor Erica did NOT want to do the whole kit and kaboodle. She was SO tired, almost fell asleep on daddy, but they both made out like bandits. Our group consisted of a Vampire (erica) Ariel (samantha) a rocker chick (their friend Kelsey) A carrot (our friend Ronda) and her son the Broccoli( Riley) and you can NOT forget Pat (old SNL character) who happened to be my husband..Haha, Its awesome!
I am glad its over with though, Thanksgiving here we come, and not long after that, the best excuse in the world to spend god awful amounts of Money...CHRISTMAS!!!! These are the last holidays before the big arrival of #3!!!! She is able to write our her full name, pretty much the families name, and her friends. From September when she started the big K, until now, she amazes me with her knowledge, Vocabulary, and her personality. At times it scares me, she speaks like a little adult. Haha, We are SO proud of her. Now if she would only pick up her toys as willing as she is with her "homework".

Miss Erica Rose is so much fun to have in the day. She also amazes me so much, the way she acts, and plays, and helps me feed the critters, and clean up the house, and help with laundry (putting the soap in the washer), loading the dishes (again with the soap). Her little personality is trying at times, as all kids are, but I throughly enjoy her being my little buddy!!!

Well.... this pregnancy is going so slow. A lot slower than I had anticipated. Maybe cause we planned it, or because we are excited, maybe both. We have already started collecting the things we will need for the baby, We have a NICE Eddie Bauer Carseat/stroller combo (thanks to our dear friend Lindsey) A VERY nice bassinet our friend Tammy found for us at a thrift store, a little chair/rocker the baby will lounge in, We are going to be getting my sister-in-laws crib that she used for her 18mth old daughter. (that will save us a bunch). I know I am sort jumping the gun on getting the stuff, but you KINDA cant help it when it comes to this, I would rather get it little by little earlier on than wait till the end of the pregnancy and stress that we don't have everything we need. We do have PLENTY time to get stocked up. The one thing we are waiting on buying is the crib bedding. We both would like a neutral colored nursery, the Tans, light greens, etc. I have finally outgrown my normal T-shirts, so at our friendly neighborhood Wal-Mart tonight, I bought my first 3 Maternity shirts..It's really official now. Haha. Next doctor visit is tomorrow (Oct.23rd) so there will be updates from the appointment!!

Kevin is still working hard with the company. Grade A Pallet is doing well (despite some bonehead employees), good employees are hard to find, but the crew we have now, seems to be doing great. Kevin is such an amazing man, I admire his effort and willingness to work so hard to provide for his ever growing family. There are days when he is not feeling too hot, and just wants to sleep, but without complaint or gripe, he trudges out of bed, puts on his work garb, and heads to work. Those are the days the girls and I make sure to have dinner ready and a clean house when he gets home. I am SO blessed and lucky to have my children and my loving husband. and also my AWESOME supportive friends. I couldn't ask for a better life!!!!

After five years

WE FINALLY OWN OUR HOME!
We have been waiting and working so hard to get to this point and we are finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!
When we moved into our cute little condo, (that my inlaws owned) the original agreement was that we would do it within that year. (5 years ago). We are SO grateful for Mom and Dad G that they were so patient with us throughout the process. I would have to say, they were the best "landlords" I think anyone can ever have. We are just glad its ours now, happy that we finally held to our end of the agreement. I am excited for the remodel to start, which will be a bit, but in the end, it will be a beautiful house!!!! Glad to be, the CONSTANT sickness is gone, I'm still tired quite a bit. I have quite a belly (for 12 weeks), and already buying baby clothes. (Gender Neutal of course) I have my next doctor's appointment on the 23rd of October, excited to go and listen to the little baby heartbeat and see how he/she is doing. About another month and a half we will find out the sex. We are hoping for a little guy, but of course, we would be just as happy with a little miss.

Erica Rose Bronson

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_4YPYMc3IwcA/SQaW6WMp92I/AAAAAAAAAHY/3KRsyUWabT0/s400/Photo_032308_001.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262059143764244322" />

Erica Rose is Such a joy to have in my life! Baby #3 is cookin! We are very excited. With my first two pregnancys, I was somewhat cocky in the fact that I had the easiest pregnancys/labor. This one however is quite different. Since day one, I am always nauseaus, constant heartburn, the only thing I can stomach with NO problem is fruit, Which is good, but I cant live off fruit. LoL. I also was "diagnosed" with a Thyroid problem, so I am on thyroid medication, its a great joy. It truly is worth every day of morning sickness. I went in for my first Ultrasound October 2nd when I thought I was 7 weeks pregnant. When the US Tech was doing the measurements of the baby, I measured in at 10 weeks. Which means we concieved about a day after I had my IUD taken out. People were telling me it will take a while, HA! haha. VERY healthy baby as we can tell now, Strong little heart beat. Active little thing when we were looking at it. ETA is May 2, 2009.
